A Delegated Act updates and simplifies the list of products covered by the Regulation. It removes certain products (including cattle hides and leather, re-treaded tyres, and soybeans for sowing), adds soluble coffee, selected palm oil derivatives and frozen cattle tongues and clarifies several exemptions. Newly added products will become subject to the EUDR from 30 December 2027. The Act will now undergo a two-month scrutiny period by the European Parliament and the Council.
The Commission has also adopted the Implementing Act on the EUDR Information System, introducing simplified declarations for micro and small operators and updated API specifications.
